  • Installation and setup of SPSS software
  • Introduction to the SPSS interface
• Afternoon:
  • Data entry and importing data into SPSS
  • Variable types and properties
  • Basic data manipulation (sorting, filtering, recoding)

Day 2: Descriptive Statistics

• Morning:
  • Introduction to descriptive statistics
  • Measures of central tendency (mean, median, mode)
  • Measures of variability (range, variance, standard deviation)
• Afternoon:
  • Frequency distributions and histograms
  • Creating bar charts and pie charts in SPSS
  • Generating summary statistics

Day 3: Inferential Statistics - Part 1

• Morning:
  • Introduction to inferential statistics
  • Parametric vs. non-parametric tests
  • Independent samples t-test
• Afternoon:
  • Paired samples t-test
  • One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA)
  • Post-hoc tests for ANOVA

Day 4: Inferential Statistics - Part 2

  • Correlation analysis (Pearson's correlation)

  • Interpretation of regression output
  • Assumptions and limitations of regression

Day 5: Advanced Topics and Data Visualization

  • Multiple regression analysis
  • Logistic regression (basic introduction)
  • Data transformation and normalization
• Afternoon:
  • Data visualization using SPSS (scatterplots, boxplots, etc.)
  • Exporting results and charts from SPSS
  • Course review and Q&A session
